Vol. 129 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Finglas Bus Service.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware of the need for an adequate bus service from the corporation scheme at Cappagh, Finglas, to and from Dublin and that residents of Finglas village also need a separate bus service because buses are filled on the way from Cappagh before reaching the village of Finglas; and, if so, if he will request Córas Iompair Éireann to provide these services.

The responsibility for making provision to meet the demand for transport services has been placed by the Transport Act, 1950, on the Board of Córas Iompair Éireann. The matter is accordingly one which should be taken up direct with Córas Iompair Éireann.
