asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state if Bord na Móna propose to erect a hall at Bracknagh, near Rathangan, County Offaly, as part of their housing scheme for their employees; and, if so, if he will say when the hall is likely to be completed.

I am informed by Bord na Móna that the hall which they are having erected at Bracknagh, County Offaly, for the use of their employees, is at an advanced state and that the building will be completed within the next few months.
Might I inquire from the Minister, in view of the fact that it is reported locally that the building of this hall will not continue and that the hall is going to be purchased for other use, whether I can have an assurance from him that that is not so, and that the erection of the hall as originally designed will be continued?
I am informed by the board that the building will be completed within a few months.
