I move:—
That a sum not exceeding £415 be granted to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1952, for the repayment to the Contingency Fund of certain Miscellaneous Advances.
As the House is aware, this Vote is always taken towards the end of the year, to replenish the Contingency Fund, which is used to provide urgent and unforeseen expenditure which at the time when it arises cannot otherwise be provided for, or which it is not convenient to provide otherwise.
