It is not yet possible to state whether or when this work will be undertaken. The matter is under active consideration and a decision will be reached as soon as possible.
Is it not correct that notification was sent to the Cork County Council informing them that, provided they agreed to pay 25 per cent. of the cost, the scheme would there and then be commenced? In view of the fact that the Cork County Council has agreed to pay their contribution, may I appeal to the Minister to have the matter speeded up.
