Vol. 131 No. 12

Order of Business.

Business will be taken in the following order: Nos. 1, 8 and 6 and in No. 6, Votes 39 to 46. Questions will be taken at 3 p.m.

I take it that we will sit on Tuesday and Wednesday next week?

Yes. Unless we make a little more progress with the financial business, it may be necessary to sit early on Wednesday.

Will there be the usual discussions about the time on Wednesday?

There will be. Quite frankly, however, I may say that we are not making the progress with the financial business that we ought to.

The Finance Bill?

The financial business and the Bill.

We had only two days so far on the Bill—I underline "so far".

That is just the point. If we do not get very much further to-day than we have got so far, then I think we shall have to sit on Wednesday from 10.30 a.m. until 10.30 p.m.

What about the country Deputies?

The country Deputies have to remember the business of the State.

It would be a good idea if those who simply want to repeat what has been already said handed it in in writing. It would save time.
