Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork Water Schemes.

asked the Minister for Local Government if the Cork County Council has submitted proposals for his approval regarding the following water schemes: (a) Baltimore, (b) Leap, Union Hall and Glandore, (c) Ballineen, (d) Castletown-Kinneagh, and (e) Eyeries; and, if so, what is the present position of the schemes.

Plans and specification for Baltimore water supply scheme have been generally approved, and the submission of full contract documents is awaited.

Contract documents for Leap, Union Hall and Glandore water supply scheme have been approved, and proposals with regard to the acceptance of a tender are awaited.

No proposals have been received with regard to the remaining places named in the Deputy's question.
