asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the number of houses completed by private persons or by public utility societies with the aid of State grants in the years 1950 and 1951 and in the three months January-March, 1951, and 1952, (a) in Dublin and (b) outside Dublin, and if he will state further the number of such houses in course of erection at the end of (a) March, 1951, (b) December, 1951, and (c) March, 1952.

It is not possible from the records in the Department to give the information in the precise form requested. The records relate only to grants allocated, partly paid and fully paid. The available information is given in the following table:—
