I am not yet in a position to make any statement on this matter of the revision of the rates of retired pay, pensions and gratuities under the Defence Forces (Pensions) Scheme, 1937 to 1949. The matter is, however, under consideration and every effort is being made to bring it to a conclusion as soon as possible.
