The work of promoting the development of exports to the dollar has been entrusted to Córas Tráchtála Teoranta, which was incorporated on 21st December last. The company has prepared and distributed a pamphlet giving particulars of its origin, organisation and functions and an indication of the types of service it can make available to exporters. Trade inquiries covering a wide range of commodities have already been received and dealt with. The company has also secured the services of a number of American experts to conduct a survey with a view to selecting those Irish products which offer the best prospects for urgent development.
