Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Fish Imports

asked the Taoiseach if he will state what quantities of fish have been imported from Iceland since the 1st January, 1952.

The quantity of fish imported from Iceland in the period January to May, 1952, was 1,315 cwt. of salt cured fish.

Is the Parliamentary Secretary aware that the fishing fleet in Killybegs is prevented from fishing owing to a glut of fish on the market, and will he say if he thinks it is right to import fish from Iceland while our local fleet is prevented from fishing?

That, surely, is a question for another Minister.

That is a question which, I think, the Deputy should address elsewhere.
