A proposal of the Cork County Council, Northern Committee, to accept tenders for the provision of 45 labourers' cottages in the Mitchelstown rural district was recently received in my Department. The tender prices were too high to warrant my giving approval to the acceptance of the tenders, and the council have been informed accordingly.
