Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Foreign Wheat and Maize.

asked the Taoiseach what is the c.i.f. price for each cargo of wheat delivered at Irish ports in 1951 and 1952, (1) ex-United States of America, (2) ex-Canada, and (3) ex-Australia.

The particulars asked for by the Deputy in respect of each cargo of wheat delivered in Irish ports in 1951 and 1952 are not available. I propose, however, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the average c.i.f. price of wheat imported from (a) United States of America, (b) Canada, (c) Australia, in each month of the period January, 1951 to September, 1952.

Following is the statement:
