The proportionate amount available for the West Cork area in the current winter's programme of employment schemes is £7,935. Of this sum, £4,315 has been allocated to the Castletownbere rural district; £385 has been allocated to Bantry town. On the assumption that the Glengariff area includes the electoral divisions of Glengariff and Kileaskan, the allocation is £760.
