asked the Minister for Local Government if he will statein respect of the last day of each of the months November and December, 1952, and January, 1953, in respect of houses being erected by local authorities, (1) the number of houses (a) in progress, (b) for which tenders have been accepted or invited, (c) for which site development was in progress, (d) for which sites had been acquired but no development work commenced; and (2) (a) the number of skilled menemployed and (b) the total number of men employed.

The following table shows the particulars requested in regard to the housing position of local authorities at the end of November and December, 1952. The information is not yet available in respect of the position at 31st January, 1953, but will be transmitted to the Deputy as soon as possible.
