asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission are considering the division of the Bowles estate, Taylors Cross, Banagher, County Offaly, amongst local deserving applicants for land.

The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of this estate. The case has been noted.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Bennett Ryan estate, Thomastown, Rath, Birr, County Offaly, will be divided and allotted this year.

Part of the estate has been allotted for afforestation purposes. The Land Commission do not expect to be in a position to allot the balance of the lands this spring.

asked the Minister for Lands if any land will be divided this year in the electoral division of Edenderry, County Offaly; and, if so, what estates are in course of preparation for allocation amongst the local people.

The Land Commission do not expect to divide any land in the district electoral division of Edenderry this year.
