I would refer the Deputy to my answer to Question No. 16 on Thursday, the 12th February, 1953. Particulars of the proposed apprenticeship scheme at the naval dockyard at Haulbowline will be communicated to the vocational authorities at Cobh as soon as a decision has been taken in the matter.
Is the Minister aware that a letter to that effect was sent in January, 1952? Perhaps if he would get some of those spare civil servants they might speed it up.
