Vol. 136 No. 8

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Taking of Questions

The remaining questions will appear on to-morrow's Order Paper.

If they do appear on to-morrow's Order Paper, will the questions addressed to the Minister for Agriculture be taken early on, because so far as I can find out we sit hereday after day waiting for all the other questions to be dealt with——

That is what you are here for.

They will all be taken to-morrow.

My complaint is that the purpose for which the Minister for Agriculture is supposed to be here is never realised, because he is not allowed to open his beak. All I am asking is that to-morrow the poor man will be elevated to a position in which he will be allowed to perform the greatest miracle since Moses struck the rock, that is, to open his beak in this House.

What about closing a beak on occasions?

You were never able to close mine and you never will be.

All the questions will be taken to-morrow.

I do not see that any useful purpose is served by taking questions for an hour on the first day and disposing of the remainder the next day. When you add the hour on the first day to the time taken on the second day it comes to the same thing.

Could we not finish the questions now?

Is the House agreeable?

Agreed to take the remaining questions.
