The c.i.f. price of the last cargo of maize which arrived on 12th February was £29 3s. 9d. per ton. Prices reported in the last few days have been in the neighbourhood of £27 a ton. Owing to increased prices and shortage of supplies of milo maize on the world market, the importation of this commodity has been discontinued. Supplies are not on offer at present. The c.i.f. price of the last cargo of milo maize, which arrived on 1st September, was £28 1s. per ton.
