asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state, in relation to the Laoighis County Council, the amount of grants given each year under the Local Authorities (Works) Act, 1949, and the amount proposed to be granted for the coming year.
I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 53 and 54 together. Particulars of the grants allocated to Laoighis and to Offaly each year since 1949/50 were given in a reply to a parliamentary question put down by Deputy Davin on the 11th December last. Grants for the coming financial year have not yet been allocated.
Does the Minister know when they will be allocated?
