The members of An Chomhairle Leabharlanna appointed as from 1st January, 1953, on the nomination of the Irish County Councils General Council are Thomas Condon, Denis Heskin and Michael Smyth. Previously members appointed on the council's nomination were Michael Hearne, Thomas Condon, Denis Heskin and Patrick Smith.
The annual reports of An Chomhairle Leabharlanna, which are laid before each House of the Oireachtas give particulars of the attendance of members at meetings.
