I have received a letter dated 5th March, 1953, from the Borough of Dún Laoghaire Vocational Education Committee containing such a request.
The grants which it is proposed to pay under Section 53 of the Vocational Education Act, 1930, in the year 1953/54 to all vocational education committees have already been determined, due regard having been had to the annual schemes adopted by the committees, their present financial circumstances and the amount of financial assistance which they require, and it does not appear that the circumstances of Dún Laoghaire committee warrant a revision of the grant in their case.
