asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will indicate what steps he proposes to take to amend the Estimate for his Department in view of the fact that a profit of £200,000 will be made out of the sale of New Zealand butter.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - New Zealand Butter.
Mr. Walsh
I do not propose to take any steps to amend the Estimate for my Department for the year 1953-54 in respect of the cost of cold storage of butter. As I have already indicated, this charge will now be met in full for that year out of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Fund and a corresponding saving will accrue to the Vote for my Department.
