Vol. 137 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry School.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state if a tender has been accepted for the erection of a new school at Killahan, Abbeydorney, County Kerry; and, if so, if hewill indicate when the erection of the school is likely to commence.

I am advised by the Commissioners of Public Works that tenders received for the erection of a new national school at Killahan, Abbeydorney, County Kerry, are still under consideration, but that they expect to be in a position to accept a tender at an early date. I am unable to state when the erection of the school is likely to be commenced, but the commissioners will urge the contractor whose tender is accepted to have the work put in hands as soon as possible.
