Vol. 138 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Irish Meat and Live-stock Prices.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he will make representations to the British Government regarding prices to be paid for Irish meat and live-stock for the coming year, and if he will state whether the terms of the existing agreement will be revised to comply with the changed conditions in this trade; and, further, if he will publish details of any alteration in prices.

Mr. Walsh

The discussions with the British authorities on the revision of the annex to the 1948 Trade Agreement are now nearing completion and an announcement will be made in due course regarding prices for live stock and meat exported to Britain.
