I am informed by the E.S.B. that the results of a local canvass carried out by a committee of residents of the Kealkill area have been received by the board and that an official canvass will be carried out in due course. The board state that until the results of the official canvass have been examined, it will not be possible to give any indication as to when the development of the area under the rural electrification scheme is likely to take place.
