In County Meath, on 1st June, 1952, which is the latest date for which statistics of agricultural holdings are available, there were 4,209 holdings of five statute acres and under and 5,266 holdings of ten statute acres and under. Particulars of the numbers of holdings of 20 statute acres and under have not been compiled, but it may be of assistance to the Deputy to state that there were 5,970 holdings of 15 statute acres and under and 8,772 holdings of 30 statute acres and under in the county on 1st June, 1952.
