asked the Minister for Local Government if he has received from Laoighis County Council contract documents for the approval of his Department regarding the extension of the Durrow water and sewerage schemes so as to provide sanitary services for certain cottages in the town, and, if so, if he will sanction them so that the proposals may be carried out immediately.

A proposal to install sanitary services in 22 labourers' cottages at Durrow was received in my Department on the 16th instant, from the Laoighis County Council. The council have been requested to furnish further necessary information to enable the proposal to be examined.
