The cost of the Transport Tribunal from 1st February, 1952, when the members were appointed, to 30th October, 1953, is estimated at approximately £2,109. This sum includes the salary of an officer of my Department who acts as secretary tothe tribunal. The tribunal employs no other staff.
Three public and 16 private sittings have been held by the tribunal since its establishment.
