Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Employment in Transportable Goods Industries.
I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the estimated number of persons engaged in transportable goods industries in each quarter of 1950, 1951 and 1952 and the first two quarters of 1953. Figures for the third quarter of 1953 are not yet available and it is not possible to show the numbers of males and females separately.
Following is the statement:—
ESTIMATES of the number of persons engaged in industries producing transportable goods in the pay-week nearest to the middle of the last month of each quarter of 1950, 1951 and 1952 and the first two quarters of 1953.
