I am informed by the E.S.B. that they have recently received the results of a preliminary canvass of the residents of the Rosses, County Donegal, for rural electrification purposes which was carried out by a local committee. As a result, the area has been placed on the board's waiting list for an official canvass which is expected to be carried out within the next six months.
