Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Naming of County Dublin Hospital.

asked the Minister for Health whether the question of the name to be given to the chest hospital at Abbotstown, County Dublin, is being considered; and, if so, whether, in view of James Connolly's devotion to the cause of Dublin workers and his work as founder and leader of the Irish Citizen Army, and because of the respect and regard of Dubliners for him, this hospital will be named after him.

The regional sanatorium at Blanchards-town, now nearing completion, will be handed over to Dublin Corporation when it is ready for occupation by patients and the final selection of a name for it will be a matter for that body. I am in full agreement, however, with the suggestion in the Deputy's question and will bring it to the notice of the corporation.
