The returns furnished to my Department by holders of seed wheat assemblers' permits indicate that the quantity of seed wheat available this year is considerably in excess of the quantity sold last year and it appears that supplies will be sufficient to meet requirements.
There is no official control over the assembly of home-grown seed oats or barley but from the information at present available it appears that adequate stocks have been procured by the trade.
