No such plans have been submitted, but the Department has received a preliminary report prepared by the town surveyor, outlining the steps which might be taken during the next five years to provide services for a portion of the demesne which it is understood will be used for industrial and housing purposes, including the provision of some sites for private houses. The proposals contained in the report were approved on the 11th instant.
