Vol. 147 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - St. Patrick's School, Cork City.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the unsatisfactory conditions obtaining in St. Patrick's Girls' National School, Cork City, and, if so, what steps he proposes to take to have suitable accommodation made available.

I am aware that St. Patrick's Girls' and Infants' National School, Cork City, is in a defective condition. The preliminary arrangements for the erection of a new school on a new site have reached an advanced stage and it is hoped that my Department will be in a position to sanction a grant, at an early date, towards the cost of the new school.
