(a), 4,600 pupils attended night classes in agriculture conducted during the year 1953-54 by the instructors in agriculture employed by the county committees of agriculture; (b), 13,063 demonstration plots were in operation during the year 1953-54; (c), at 72 of the lectures by agricultural advisers during the year 1953-54 films, film strips or slides were shown.
