asked the Minister for Local Government if he will sanction as soon as possible the proposals of the Dundalk Urban District Council in regard to relief works on roads and footpaths, so that work may commence before Christmas.

Four of the five works in question have been approved at an estimated cost of £5,320.
In the case of the remaining proposal estimated to cost £2,000, additional particulars received in the Department on 27th November are at present being examined and it is hoped to issue a decision at an early date.
