Following an increase of approximately 50 per cent. in the price of raw rubber the manufacturers were advised on 1st December, 1954, after an examination by the Prices Advisory Body, that no objection would be raised to their proposal to increase by 5 per cent. the prices of their tyres and tubes supplied to the public.
