An extension to supply Liscannor is being provided by Clare County Council in conjunction with a new water supply improvement scheme for Ennistymon and Lahinch. The completion of the contract documents for the main scheme was deferred by the council pending receipt of tenders for the filter plant. It is understood that these tenders have been received by the council. Their proposals in regard to a contract are awaited.
