Seán Mac Eochagáin

asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission propose to rearrange the townland of Kylesalia, Lynch's estate, Kilkerrin, Carna, West Galway.

I propose with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 20 and 21 together.

The Land Commission are not at present in a position to state when the rearrangement of these townlands will be put in hands. They are, however, making preliminary inquiries with a view to securing the migration of tenants whose vacated lands will facilitate the proposed rearrangement.

Seán Mac Eochagáin

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission propose to rearrange the townland of Mynish, O'Connor and Nolan estate, Carna, and, if so, when.

The Land Commission will undertake the rearrangement of this townland as soon as circumstances permit and with this end in view they are endeavouring to create a pool of untenanted land (by migration and resumption), to facilitate the proposed rearrangement.
