The Land Commission have in mind a suitable bog on which turbary might be provided for the migrants in question, but at present the commission control only a fifth share of it. Proceedings are in progress for the acquisition of the remaining shares, but some of the parties concerned have lodged objections to acquisition which must be disposed of before the Land Commission can know whether they may ultimately obtain full control and be in a position to make allotments of bog plots.
