I have requested the Prices Advisory Body to hold a public inquiry into the application for relief by the master bakers arising out of the recent increase in the wages of bakery workers. The conduct of the inquiry is a matter entirely for the Prices Advisory Body and I am satisfied the body will secure whatever information they require for the purpose of their inquiry into the matter.
