Vol. 153 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Telephone Kiosk.

andJack Lynch asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether, in view of the fact that there is no telephone kiosk on the South Douglas Road, Cork, for a distance of nearly two miles, and that the kiosk erected at the corner of Capwell Road and High Street was removed after a very short interval, he will have a kiosk erected on the South Douglas Road at the end of Tramore Lawn or Belvedere Lawn.

A kiosk will be erected on the South Douglas Road as soon as a suitable site can be found. In this regard the site difficulty is a very real one as the road and the footpaths are very narrow.
