The survey of the Moy catchment area was completed in November, 1953, and work on the design and preparation of a scheme is in hands. Some further field investigation will be necessary, however, and will be carried out as soon as possible. Pending completion of the preparation of the scheme and compliance with the requirements of the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, as regards exhibition and confirmation, it is not possible to say when works in the area are likely to be commenced.
