asked the Minister for Health if he will state in respect of each institution in Counties Offaly, Roscommon and Westmeath, (1) the number of (a) maternity, (b) surgical and general and (c) tuberculosis beds available; (2) the excess of bed demand over supply for the last 12 months' period for which figures are available, giving approximate and combined figures if none other is available; (3) the number of bed extensions authorised in principle, or coming within a category where authorisation on the basis of present policy may be envisaged, and the approximate cost of each extension.
