Committee on Finance. - Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) (Amendment) Bill, 1956—Financial Resolution.

I move:—

That for the purpose of any Act of the present session providing for amendment and extension of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Acts, 1935 to 1941, it is expedient to authorise:—

(1) requirement of payment of levies on certain stocks of imported butter, and

(2) charging of fees on the grant of permits under regulations providing for restricting purposes for which certain butter may be bought, sold or used.
