asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in respect of the commercial banks for each 30th June and 31st December since 1922, the amount of (a) deposits and (b) liquid assets under the headings (1) cash and bank balances within the State; (2) cash and bank balances elsewhere; (3) money at call and short notice; and (4) British Government securities; and the ratio of such liquid assets to deposits in each case.
