My Department's views on the Galway County Council's outline proposals for a water supply scheme for Menlough were communicated to the council in 1955. No further developments on the scheme have since been reported to the Department.

The proposals of Galway County Council for the acceptance of tenders for the Ballygar Sewerage Scheme were recently sanctioned but I am not in a position to state when work is likely to commence.
