As the Deputy is aware, a very serious position has arisen in regard to the financing of the hospital building programme. I am at present engaged in a comprehensive review of the programme in the light of the funds that it may be possible to make available for new works after provision has been made for existing commitments. When this review has been completed, I shall convey a decision to the Deputy and to the local authority in regard to each of the projects mentioned.
