Vol. 163 No. 2

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper, in the following order: Items Nos. 4 and 5, and in 5, Vote 27.

Is the Tánaiste in a position to say what will be taken to-morrow, if we finish to-day's business?

I am afraid it will be the Estimate for the Department of Industry and Commerce.

When will the Tánaiste be in a position to give a firm opinion?

The Finance Bill will be taken on Report. That was understood.

I may be more optimistic than the Tánaiste. We are to sit 12 hours to-day and does the Tánaiste not think it expedient formally to order anything else? It will do no harm.

I suppose we can order the Estimate for the Department of Industry and Commerce. The Estimate in respect of the Department of External Affairs is not ready.

The Estimate for the Department of Industry and Commerce is Vote No. 50 on the Order Paper.

Could we have the Order of Business again?

Items Nos. 4 and 5 and in 5 (Votes 27 and 50 to 65). It is proposed to suspend the sitting from 1.30 until 3 p.m. for lunch. Questions will be taken at 3 p.m.
