An Order under Section 17 of the Transport Act, 1950, enabling C.I.E. to acquire compulsorily certain properties required for the purpose of erecting the new bus station at Cork has been made. I understand from C.I.E. that acquisition of these properties is proceeding normally but that it is not yet possible to state when construction will commence.
